In November 2013 I became a venture capitalist, setting up a rock n' roll merchandise booth at the annual New Blood performance art festival in Chicago, IL to sell dope visual representations of the work being exhibited there. Alternatively, this served as a critique of my own discomfort with allowing my work to itself become an intellectual commodity.

Throughout the course of the project I became a small business (aquiring an IL peddlers liscence) and learned lots of useful information about the t-shirt printing industry.

During our group introductions, I told the rest of the exhibiting artists that I planned to make a personal profit from their work. This sparked some interesting responses, including a performative protest to the project organized by Olive Stefanski in which she attempted to explore alternate ways of engaging with the work (one of which meant unionizing against my business and attempting to seize some of the profit I would be making).
